Bardzo prawdopodobne, że gdyby nie Marc Kinchen aka MK, dzisiejsza muzyka house brzmiałaby zupełnie inaczej. Ten legendarny producent w latach 90-tych wykreował charakterystyczne brzmienie dub-house, oparte na garage’owych liniach basowych i pociętych, zapętlonych wokalach, które do dziś inspiruje rzesze artystów. Czy ktoś nie zna choćby Nightcrawlers – „Push The Feeling On” w kultowym remiksie MK?
Aż trudno uwierzyć, że „In The House” to pierwszy oficjalny mix DJ-ski w karierze MK. Na dwóch płytach znalazło się sporo remiksów artysty, m.in. dla Pet Shop Boys, FCL, Bizzare Inc, Lany Del Ray i Dillon. Wydanie cyfrowe kompilacji zawierać będzie 10 dodatkowych niezmiksowanych utworów i remiksów Marca.
Defected ujawnia też, że MK pracuje wraz z Lee Fossem i wokalistką Anabel Englund nad nowym projektem live.
